Built in 1886 as a boathouse for the steamboats that once carried passengers and freight across Blue Mountain Lake, Steamboat Landing has welcomed vacationers since the 1930s. Step away from the rush, disconnect, and settle into a place where the past lingers softly and inspires the memories you’ll make today, a place where new stories begin.

Blue Mountain Lake's clear, clean waters are perfect for boating, paddling, fishing and swimming. Nearby hiking trails offer miles of exploration. At Steamboat Landing, slow down, savor the view, and end the day with a sunset by the campfire.

Lodging

Steamboat Landing is a seasonal lodge open from June to October, offering 16 accommodations on a scenic waterfront property. The grounds include a Main Lodge, a two-family house, and four cabins. Most rooms feature full kitchens. Every space has been newly renovated for your comfort.

What Our Guests Say

Booked this spot last minute for a short honeymoon getaway. Ethan and his father Jeff were friendly, knowledgeable hosts! This lodge is on the water with beautiful views of Blue Mountain Lake, several weber grills, a dock, beach and good size yard. Our 2nd floor studio was updated with a kitchenette and the shared porch was relaxing to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful inn on the lake. Clean, spacious, and serene. Family run business with attention to guest satisfaction. Ethan, Sarah and Jeff were friendly and extremely hospitable and we enjoyed our morning chats with them having coffee in main lodge. Plenty to explore in surrounding area to include hiking trails, museums, lake activities and more. Would recommend highly.

We found Steamboat Landing last summer and fell in love. The accommodations, the owners’ kindness, the lake, the hiking trails – all of it is top notch. We went as a large family group, from toddler to grandparents, and we unanimously love it so much that it is now an annual tradition. Sarah, Jeff, and Ethan: what a magical place you have. We loved our stay at this beautiful lakeside inn! Jeff, Sarah and Ethan were awesome hosts! The newly renovated rooms were perfect and the town was so quiet and cute. The history of the lake and the Steamboats was amazing. We loved the outdoor fire and the beautiful sunset. Absolutely can’t wait to return!
